About Me:
Cheeky Physics is a female sound engineer and creative music enthusiast! Describing herself as unique, stubborn, kind hearted, ambitious, giving and cheeky she started her musical journey aged 15, gaining work experience at 'The Levellers' studio in Brighton. From there she gained various qualifications - from C&G Sound engineering, A level Music Technology, A level physics - right through to a BA (hons) in sound technology from the prestigious LIPA - becoming the first ever non-white female to do so. Having been a radio host, freelance engineer, promoter of successful club-night, assistant engineer and now also working within the pro audio industry, Cheeky Physics loves to embrace a new challenge or project... Lets do some works...

Frequencies

When listening to a mix, it is generally frequencies between around 40Hz and 12-14kHz that the ear is most sensitive to and a distinct lack of any one frequency in between these figures can result in a mix that may lack 'fullness'. Oh I wish you were in Houston I need a female engineer last last year. Engineering is a science in itself and tpp many people claim to be one. I have mad respect for anyone who can truely engineer all types of music. You have to have a heavanly ear!! Kudos!!
