About Me:
Miss Laidlaw is a female with a mission. An aspiring music entrepreneur, ranging from Music Producer, Record Label Executive, Radio Host and Creator of the infamous Female Beatmakers website.

Inspired from music from the 70s and 80s Miss Laidlaw's sound has been described as down tempo, groovy and original for its time. Her main motivation to make music was encouraged by both her parents who saw she had an ear for music.

What is impressive about this lady is the fact that despite no releases or shows, she has already acquired a fan base from around the world, ranging from music lovers to celebrities. Though the wait is over and her album has been confirmed to be released this year through her own Record Label, Groove Erotic. Her single ‘Inspirational Level 1 ‘is due to available through download on I Tunes and Amazon on the 2nd May 2009

Miss Laidlaw is also the owner of the well-known Female Beatmakers Forum, which is a website aimed at motivating and inspiring other talented females in the music industry. Currently she is working on organising workshops around London, to offer cheaper alternatives for people wishing to study music.

She is also a radio host/dj spinning the best in Rare Groove, Funk, Broken Beat, Afro Beat, 80s and Nu -Wave. You can tune into her online show every Monday between 4-6pm GMT on Playvybz.com

Yes people it's that time of the year again where we are doing the big Female Beatmakers Charity event. This year we have confirmed the venue and currently looking for acts to participate at this event. Amongst that we are also looking to recruit volunteers to help with the overall running of the night.

I would be particularly interested in Female Producers or musicians who would be happy to perform on the night. Singers, rappers, and beatboxers are highly welcome.
