This is Philly the first lady of the entertainment collective Smooth Connection.

Although she specialises in hip-hop and r&b, Philly can mix just about anything, from funky house, and garage, to jungle and dancehall. She started off deejaying in small clubs in her hometown of Northampton, but was then found by Redz & Butch playing a fluke set at Hippodrome, after moving to London to study.

Since then Philly has been making a name for herself in big clubs all over London and the UK, including Ministry of Sound, Hammersmith Palais, Hippodrome, Carling Academy and clubs in Colchester, Wales, Leicester and Brighton, the list goes on!

As well as regular slots in clubs and bars every weekend, her annual events include appearances at Notting Hill and Luton Carnivals, and the after parties that follow these events.

She is also branching out overseas and has recently played in Geneva, Ibiza and Cyprus. She is quickly building up a following on the university scene. Philly has played alongside the likes of Jazzy Jeff, and at launch parties for artists such as Chris Brown, Missy Elliot, Ne-yo, Wycleff, J-Lo,Sean Kingston and the official Jay Z after party in conjunction with TwiceasNice which has lead to Philly becoming part of the TwiceasNice brand.

Not only is she an accomplished Dj but she is also part of Sony BMG, which makes her even more sort after for other skills such as event organisation and artist liaison.
