About Me:: I'm Lexa Jo, child of my mother, father and the most High. I am an artist; I have always being fascinated by music, dance, arts and my reflection doing those. I chose dance as a path to follow because I have always had a burning desire to express myself through movement, creating shapes with my limbs, sounds with my feet and I still do to this day! Singing, has always being part of me but I had not discovered my true voice, not knowing that the deep husky tone to it could sound pleasant. But in my trail, acquaintance, the Highest made me realise that I just had to sing and speak for my voice no matter what I thought of it ! So here I am sharing with you. My purpose is to reflect my inner thoughts with you through my music, my movement and my words. Give you something to think about, make you feel good!

Influences:: My mother is my worldly influence, and anyone who walk their talk. Everyday I'm growing, learning and evolving into what I have always wanted to be, a strong minded, positive, intrepid and free woman. I'm guided by my Lord Almighty! I have been brought up listening to African, Soul, Blues, Disco, Reggae beats with mum, Rock, Jazz, Classical music with my dad and Funk, New Jack Swing, Hip Hop with my brothers. Growing up in Brussels/ Belgium I was also introduced to House, techno, Broken beat, drum n bass and French music! I have not yet mastereded an instrument but day to day I am learning more about music, beats, rhythm and harmonies.
